  4. 2. This software is used as a first evaluation of Presto! Multimedia Suite

  12. About Timebomb
  13. ==============
  14. 1. Current NSTB16.DLL treate expire days -1 as 3650 days.
  15. 2. Current installation set expire days to -1
  16. 3. NewSoft has the right and responsibility to tune the expire days by managing
  17.    it with different NSTB16.DLLs.
  18. 4. If you want to disable the timebomb functions, either replace a new NSTB16.DLL
  19.    or modify the INSTALL.INF in each software as
  20.        [Presto]
  21.        TimeBombDLL=NOTIME.DLL
  22.        TechSupport=..\tsupport.exe
  23. 5. If the software is expired, we hope NSTB16.dll can show a message to warn the
  24.    user. The applications will just close the apps without showing anything.
  25. 6. We have modify the souce code of TIMEBOMB.C and .RC. Current strategy is
  26.    - Install program don't have to set the timebomb.
  27.    - The Apps will call "IsTryCountBeenSet" to determine is the timeout been set.
  28.    - If not set yet, set the timebomb with lDays = -1.
  29.    - The Apps now call "IsSoftwareExpired" to check the time.
